Hello! I’m Leslie. I use design and illustration to forge human connections.

I've been lucky enough to have used my skills to build and nurture closely-knit, niche communities.

My rock climbing apparel brand, Dynamite Starfish, has brought together a community 11,000+ climbers, misfits, and lovers.

My work for Taco Bell's hot sauce packets has gone "viral" and has traversed far outside of the fast food space into fashion and grocery. Taco Bell's hot sauce packets now have a cult following of dedicated fans who wear the designs on swimsuits, apparel, and buy bottles of Taco Bell hot sauce in grocery stores.

Speaking of grocery store shelves, my graphic design work can also be found enticing everyday shoppers to enjoy a moment of sweet bliss on a variety of chocolate packages and beer labels.

In the past, I’ve designed for print, packaging, and innovations at meat & potatoes, inc and for digital content at VaynerMedia. I hold a degree in Art & Graphic Design from California State University Northridge, and have also studied Design at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Australia.

Fun facts:

• I worked 19 different jobs before starting a "real" career

• I specialize in food & beverage packaging. My graphic design work can be found on chocolate boxes, beer labels, and on a multitude of sauces both sweet and spicy.

• In 2014, I founded Dynamite Starfish. I always wanted to create a radical space for rock climbing misfits, so I did!

• I am a practitioner of a combat martial art called Budo Taijutsu, and it has taught me many important life lessons.

• I'm working on my biggest design project yet: designing a sustainable life for myself
